STEM Careers

On Tuesday 19th October, Varamed (a pharmaceutical company based in Twickenham) came in to deliver a talk to a group of Year 10 students. The aim of the talk was to inform students about STEM careers in the pharmaceutical industry. Students learnt about how clinical trials are run, how treatments are developed and the roles that statisticians and programmers play in clinical trials.

It was a really insightful talk, especially at a time where global vaccinations are being developed.
