Year 7 No Bystanders

The new Year 7 Sunbury Manor students wanted to send out a clear message that our school has no place for bullying and no student will be a bystander - if we hear it or see it, we will STOP IT!!

Staff and students joined the 70 million strong ‘No Bystanders’ twitter campaign by standing together as a school and signing the pledge unifying one idea that if we want to completely stamp out bullying we must all play our part. The pledge encouraged students to never be a bystander to bullying and teasing language and also promising to stand up for fairness and kindness. Each Year 7 student in the school proudly signed the pledge which is displayed in tutor rooms as reminder of the zero tolerance to bullying attitude we have as a school, whilst encouraging our students to always be considerate and kind.
