BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS

On Thursday 11th January, the Yr9 girls' basketball team went to Magna Carta School to play in the annual Basketball Tournament. Being the best school in the area, obviously we smashed them all and won the competition. There were five schools that participated and we drew with one team but beat the rest of the competition!
To warm up, we destroyed Jubilee High by at least 6 points and then went to play Bishop Wand who we beat 4-0. Against Matthew Arnold we obliterated them with over 12 points and finally we faced our all-time rivals, Magna Carta. It was a close game, but we were clearly on top form, so we took home the medals.
We can’t wait to go next year and repeat our winning performances.
