Lost Certificates

Question:  “I’ve lost my exam certificates, where can I get hold of copies?

Exam certificates are distributed to students in early November following the summer in which students take their final GCSE exams.

If certificates are not collected, they are posted to students using Recorded delivery.  Any certificates which are consequently returned to the school are stored for one year and then destroyed.

After this time, you will need to contact the exam boards with which you took your qualifications.  A number of exam boards have merged over the years but the current exam boards will have details of any qualifications achieved with boards with which they have merged.

Please use the links below to find up to date information and instructions on how to obtain replacement certificates/certifying statements of results from the relevant exam boards.  You will need to know the year in which you took your exams.

Please note that there is a charge for issuing confirmation of qualifications and you will need to be able to prove that you are the certificate holder.
