Year 8 Spanish Tapas Tasting

This term, Year 8 students have been studying Spanish foods which culminated in a tapas-tasting session in their final week. They were treated to a menu of aceitunas (olives), jamón serrano, chorizo and salchichón (a selection of dried cured Spanish meats), queso manchego (a cheese made in the La Mancha region of Spain from the milk of sheep of the Manchega breed), paella (an authentic Spanish rice dish), tortilla Española (Spanish egg, onion and potato omelette), and tortilla chips (made from a blend of white and yellow corn). ¡Que aproveche!
