WILLOW HUCKERBYS WONDERFUL CAKES

During lockdown Willow (Year 7) certainly kept herself busy creating and baking these incredible cakes.  Willow sent these pictures into Miss Hunt her Food and Nutrition teacher with the following message.

Hiya Miss, I would like to say that Food Tech is one lesson I am very passionate about because when I’m older I would love to be a pastry chef! I have attached some pictures of the cakes I have baked and it would mean a lot if you could take a look at them.

Miss Hunt’s feedback was nothing but complimentary.  She also gave Willow some great career advice with details of courses that Willow could study in the future. 

I am sure you will agree that these would be worthy of being in any ‘Bake Off Showstopper Challenge’ and that Willow is well on her way to fulfilling her dream of becoming  a pastry chef.  These put a huge smile on my face - the only sad thing was that I did not get to try a piece.  I am sure that they were delicious.  Remarkable work Willow, well done!
