BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Abigail Karanja (Year 7) produced this informative poster for Black History Month.

Black History Month during October provides a fantastic opportunity  for us to recognize the outstanding contributions people of African and Caribbean descent  have given us.  This year’s theme was ‘African Americans and the Vote,’ exploring 150 years (and more) of the struggle to ensure that African Americans are able to fully participate in an American democracy.

Abigail confirmed this in her poster which enlightened her classroom peers.
