ANTI-BULLYING WEEK, NO BYSTANDERS
The new Year 7 Sunbury Manor students wanted to send out a clear message that our school has no place for bullying and no student will be a bystander.
If we hear it or see it, we will STOP IT!!”
Throughout anti-bullying week, staff and students joined the 70 million strong ‘No Bystanders’ Twitter campaign by standing united as a school. We all signed the pledge unifying under one idea that if we want to completely stamp out bullying, we must all play our part. The pledge encouraged students to never be a bystander, not to be a bully, that teasing language is not acceptable and also promising to stand up for fairness and kindness towards all.
Each Year 7 student in the school proudly signed the pledge which is displayed in tutor rooms as a reminder of the zero tolerance to bullying attitude we have as a school.
