On Tuesday 25th and Friday 28th February, The Money Charity visited Sunbury Manor School to deliver financial workshops to Year 10. The workshops were split into two aspects, giving students the opportunity to learn about ‘Building a budget and getting paid’ and ‘Tax and Payslips’. The sessions were really interactive, allowing students to take part in different activities that really got them thinking and learning about these topics that will become relevant to them in the future.

Here are some comments from the Year 10 students:

“What I enjoyed the most was learning new information about money that will help in the future”

“I learnt how to read a payslip and how tax works, which will really help me when I get a job”

“I learnt how to manage my money and how to save for the future”.

Thank you to The Money Charity for delivering these amazing workshops!
