YEAR 10 RUGBY SEVENS

On Tuesday 2nd October a Squad of twelve Year 10 rugby players headed up to Bishop Wand to compete in the annual District 7s competition. Unfortunately, only three teams were in attendance so it was decided that each team would play each other and the winner would take the trophy.

Our first game was against Bishop Wand. It was a great game with Sunbury Manor coming out on top by a single score courtesy of some fantastic 7s style rugby of keeping the ball, using their speed, some great vision with passing and an impressive defence.
Their second game against Magna Carta proved to be equally tough and at one point they found themselves two scores behind. Again, some great running rugby proved to be the winner and we came out of this encounter wining on conversions.

This meant that the trophy was regained for the third year running and it was fully deserved. Well done to all the boys who participated.
