Celebrating Year 11 student Aliceâs Outstanding Achievements
We are incredibly proud to celebrate Year 11 student Alice and her many achievements both in and out of school.
Since the age of 10, Alice has been a committed member of Sunbury and Walton Sea Cadets, gaining numerous qualifications, sailing aboard a tall ship along the south coast, and competing successfully in rowing competitions. Over the past three years, her rowing crews have won the Area competition each year. Alice has also supported younger cadets and helped with fundraising activities.
In recognition of her dedication, leadership and positive community impact, Alice has been awarded the prestigious Deputy Lieutenant (DL) Cadet Award, which she will receive at this year’s rowing regatta in June. She was also selected to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) in 2025.
Alongside her cadet achievements, Alice has enjoyed great success in hockey with Sunbury and Walton Hawks, winning league titles, competing in London playoffs and helping her Ladies 2’s team achieve promotion this season. She was also awarded Coach’s Player for the Under 16 team.
As well as all of this, Alice is also a young carer and is always ready to support others. We are extremely proud of her commitment, kindness and achievements.
