Year 10 Pinewood Studios â Futures Festival
Year 10 students enjoyed an inspiring and eyeâopening visit to Pinewood Studios for the annual Futures Festival, where they had the unique opportunity to speak directly with industry professionals from across the film, TV and creative sectors.
Throughout the day, students explored a wide range of career pathways—from directing, production design and stunt work to animation, sound engineering and visual effects. Professionals shared honest insights into their roles, the skills needed to succeed and the diverse routes into the industry, giving students a clearer understanding of the opportunities available behind the camera.
The trip offered a rare glimpse into life at one of the UK’s most iconic studio complexes and left students motivated and excited about future creative possibilities.
