Oliver Jr School Production

In the penultimate week of term the cast of Oliver Jr were hard at work putting the finishing touches to the production. During the rehearsal process, students were fortunate to work with West End performer Jake Bailey, who not only watched their performance but also delivered an inspiring workshop. Jake helped them refine their characterisation, deepen their performance skills, and strengthen key techniques, offering invaluable industry insight throughout the session.

Our school’s production of Oliver Jr. was a vibrant celebration of talent, teamwork and creativity. The cast brought Dickens’ story to life with lively musical numbers, expressive characters and impressive stage presence. From the energetic opening in the workhouse to the heartwarming finale, students performed with confidence and charm. The show was a true community effort, made possible by the hard work of our cast, the commitment of staff and the generous support of parents throughout the rehearsal process.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed—onstage, backstage and beyond—for helping this production shine!
