Year 8 Heathrow STEM challenge

Every student in year 8 participated in the Heathrow Stem challenge. Working in teams of 4, students demonstrated excellent team work and problem-solving skills to code and navigate their robot across a map. They were extremely well engaged throughout the session and approached the challenge with enthusiasm, resilience, and focus. They demonstrated excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills and even when faced with difficulties, the students showed perseverance and a willingness to adapt and improve their solutions. Students also learnt about engineering roles at Heathrow airport and worked with a number of different professionals within that field throughout the challenge.
