Positive Futures Surrey University

This term, five Year 10 students volunteered to attend a new Surrey Police Positive Futures Initiative. The students involved spent an entire day with a local PC before visiting hotspots for Anti-Social behaviour. The aim of the initiative was to involve young people in the decision making process to tackle ASB in our area. The day ended with four of the group delivering a presentation to local business leaders, Council Officials and the High Sheriff of Surrey. The scheme was a definite success and their suggestions are due to be implemented at the start of 2023.
