CRICKET VICTORY

On Tuesday the 25th June the Year 7 Cricket team played in the district final against St Pauls. The boys played magnificently, with our fielding skills outwitting St Pauls within 14 overs.

Up came Sunbury to bat: Charlie Miller opened with a massive strike to earn us 4 runs. Throughout our innings Rhys Williams managed to stay in for the entirety of the match, whilst also being supported by Finlay Huckerby, Stan Longman and Reece Mudway. Reece scored a phenomenal number of 4’s really pushing up SMS’s run rate!! 

Along the way to the final the boys convincingly beat Thomas Knyvett and Magna Carta. The school and myself are incredibly proud of their achievement and hope that this victory is the first of many!
