WENTWORTH CELEBRITY GOLF DAY
On Wednesday 23rd May, Mr Lebihan and Miss Pacey took fourteen Year 7 students to Wentworth Golf Club to watch the BMW Pro-am day. This was an amazing opportunity for students to see some of the world’s best golfers and some of their favourite celebrities.
The day started with a golf lesson, the students thoroughly enjoyed this and became rather competitive as they went head to head in the putting and chipping challenges. Students then explored the golf course and watched the players in action. They were lucky enough to get lots of autographs and photos with the likes of Anton Du Beke, Piers Morgan and Rory McIlroy (who had actually said he wasn’t even doing any photos that day!). The boys were very excited to see their football idols Ian Wright, Alan Shearer and Pep Guardiola. The girls were extremely pleased to have a photo with Love Island’s very own Chris Hughes! It was an amazing day and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
