Enrichment & Educational Visits

We are aware that we have a responsibility to broaden the horizon of the students in our care and endeavour to do so as often as we can. To that end, we offer a large number of trips, both day and residential, in the UK, nationally and internationally. In recent years we have offered students the opportunity to attend trips to WWI Battlefields, Barcelona, Prague, Rome, Austria and USA. Students have also made visits to many universities, the Royal Courts of Justice, various theatres and an abundance of sporting trips.

Sunbury Manor often plays host to a group of Spanish students from the North-westerly city of Vigo who visit school for almost 3 weeks and are ‘buddied’ with our own Spanish students as they take part in lessons and visit the sights of London with their host families. This is an amazing opportunity for our students to share cultural differences and see the world from a different point of view.

The highlight for Year 7 students is the Residential Camp, which takes place in the Summer Term where they enjoy a whole range of outdoor activities over 2 days including a 5 mile night hike, kayaking, climbing, archery, abseiling, team building activities and The Perch, rounded off with an evening around the camp fire.
