WIMBLEDON BALL BOYS & GIRLS

After an intense 3-hour trial on Monday 13th January, Sunbury Manor is proud to announce that Stanley Barrett, Ben Duncan, Daniel Bamba, Reggie Fear and Bailey Stevens have been selected to attend the Ball Boys and Girls’ training for the 2020 Wimbledon Championships. These students will be put through their paces once they begin the gruelling formal championship training schedule.  We wish them all the best of luck and hope they perform well throughout the trials and make the final selection. 

A huge well done also goes to Phoebe Clarke, Lola Fisher and Stephen Smith, who unfortunately did not make it into the programme this year, but have still done incredibly well to make it this far. I’ve no doubt that with a bit more work they will come back next year even stronger.

Thank you to the Wimbledon Ball Boys and Girls of 2019: Syed Arez, Evie Cann, Rory Edwards, Darcy Edwards and Vishan Rughoo, who have helped and supported this year’s candidates throughout their training.  They have been invited back to trial again for 2020, which will take place later in the year.  Congratulations to you all.
