Year 11 Examinations

This part of the website is for students, staff and parents. It is designed to provide up-to-date information relating to this years examinations.

 

Exam Results Day

Exam results will be issued on Thursday 24^th August.  Students should come to Hall A between 9.30am and 11.00am to collect your results.  Students will be given a printout listing of their results which will be provisional at this stage. They will also be given a slip to complete if they wish any controlled assessments/coursework to be returned.  These slips must be returned by Friday 8^th September, otherwise we will be unable to return the work.

External GCSE Examinations

Dates:  Monday 15th May to Wednesday 28th June 2017

Students should take time to check their personal timetables immediately on receipt and inform Ms Morris, our Exams Manager, of any problems. Please note that students should be in school at 8.25am for morning examinations and outside the Exams Hall at 1.50pm for afternoon examinations.

If a student is unable to attend an examination due to illness it is important to telephone the school by 8.30 am. We will also require medical evidence or a completed JCQ form 14 (Self Certification) for candidates who have missed an external examination. This must be forwarded to Ms Morris within 3 days of the missed examination. We reserve the right to charge parents/guardians the entry fee for students who miss examinations without good reason.
