Expansion of Sunbury Manor School – Consultation Event

Surrey County Council has undertaken a process of identifying how they can create much needed school places in the County.  This exercise identified that Sunbury Manor School should expand to take in one extra form entry.  This will change the pupil admission number from 240 to 270 in each year group, resulting in the whole school population gradually increasing to 1350. 

To accommodate this increase in pupils, and to provide more up to date facilities, the school is applying for planning permission to build a new block containing classrooms and a new dining room behind the existing school buildings on part of the multi-use games area. The school will also be undertaking some internal refurbishment works to improve existing buildings.

We are holding a consultation event for local residents and parents at which you will be able to view plans for the new block, hear about how it will be built, and provide your comments on the proposals.

Location: Sunbury Manor School – please come to main reception.
