TEA PARTY

The staff of Sunbury Manor were delighted to accept an invitation from The Phoenix Group for afternoon tea.  The members of the group worked tirelessly to produce a selection of delicious delights.  As you can see from the pictures, many teachers and staff enjoyed their afternoon tea.

“Recently, we decided to organise a tea party, so we could bake for our teachers. We did this, so we could show off our skills and so the teachers could give us their advice on how good it was!  We cooked sausage rolls, cheesy twists, made sandwiches and even made little jelly drinks.  We prepared all the food in Miss Hunt’s Food Technology room and then placed the food in Mr. Gray’s room on nice trays.

During lunchtime, we waited on the teachers offering our food for them to try.  The teachers said, “It was lovely” and were really impressed with what we could actually do!

All the food was gone by the end of it; it was great fun!”
