NATIONAL MATHS AWARDS
Onto the next round!
On Thursday 8th November, Riley Clarke, Lisa Fernandes, Megan Neall and Reggie Fear entered the first round of the Young Mathematicians’ Awards in Hampton and I am so excited to announce that they are through to the regional final on 6th December. We wish them the best of luck!
Here is what the organisers of the competition had to say about our students:
“We absolutely loved the competitive spirit that the children embodied through the challenge. The teamwork skills that they demonstrated were excellent, we were impressed with the way the children worked towards a joint solution, clarifying and challenging one another’s thinking along the way. The systematic approach they applied was very thorough, which was reflected by the high accuracy they attained in certain aspects of the challenge.”
